Our operation in Kuwait complies with most of the recognized International Standards in terms of processes, Environment safety, food safety, occupational health and safety at the workplace, etc. TAG’s Zero Incident Philosophy and resultant systems, policies, and procedures have been developed to ensure that we are able to proactively manage all aspects of Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE) issues related to our services at your Site.

QUALITY, HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

Quality – TAG catering division recognizes and complies with the basic principles of our Quality plans. The company is certified with ISO 9001: 2015 which covers standard norms and practices of operational activities including Catering, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Laundry, and other similar services.

Food Safety – TAG is certified and has complied with the internationally recognized ISO 22000:2018 (Food Safety Management System) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point). A Food Safety policy is in place to solidify our commitment to this standard.

Health, Safety and Environment – Safety at work is a prime concern of TAG. It follows legal regulations in relation to staff welfare. TAG is certified with internationally recognized ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety management system) &14001:2015 (Environmental Management System) and maintains it to recognize the value of occupational safety and the environment. TAG recognizes and accepts its responsibilities as an employer to provide a safe and healthy environment for all its employees. The health, safety, and environment policy assert the importance of occupational health and safety at work.

A dedicated QHSE Department ensures the highest standards are implemented at each site.

To monitor and maintain a safe working environment so that the ‘safety awareness’ culture is achieved and the set safety objectives are met.

Functions

QHSE function is responsible to implement, practice, standardize and monitor the comprehensive QHSE plan, which incorporates but is not limited to the following QHSE targets and duties.

    • Management System: Design and oversee the organization’s policies and procedures, implementation, and compliance.
    • Audit and Inspection: To audit and review the application of QHSE program effectiveness, risk mitigation, continual improvement plan, and measurable QHSE targets defined by the organization.
    • Training and Awareness: TAG has a dedicated HABC-approved training center and approved tutors to provide the Highfield certified training on HACCP, Food Safety, Health Safety, Fire Safety, and First Aid for its employees as and when necessary.
